CAFE UK is a non-profit organization that abides by international and local laws. The objectives of the association can be summarized in three main areas:

​

1)provide a network for financial executives working both in the UK and China to foster friendship and mutual support.

​

2)enhance ties between UK and China organizations for mutual business opportunities

​

3)share cutting edge knowledge in financial arena between the two countries via seminars, trainings, projects or conferences

​

GOVERNANCE

​

CAFE UK is governed by the executive committee. The executive committee will run the operations of the association.

​

About the executive committee:

• It manages the operations of the association, including organizing events, managing memberships, public relations and communications with CAFE UK’s partners

• The head of the executive committee is the president

• The members of the executive committee are decided via election, after the election of the management committee. Tenor is usually 2 years.

MEMBERSHIPS

 There are three types of membership at CAFE UK: individual membership, honorary membership and corporate membership

​

1)   Individual members are those who has a proved track record in excellence and share the common brief and objectives with the association and posses qualified experiences (either in or outside UK)

2)   Honorary members needs to be approved and sponsored by CAFE UK’s executive committee

3)   Corporate members are those organizations which complements and support the association’s development.

 

Corporate membership needs to be approved by CAFE UK’s executive Committee

There will be an annual fee involved if one wishes to join CAFE UK as an individual member or corporate member. The Fees are decided by the executive committee.

All members are entitled to the below:

​

1)   Participate the events organized by CAFE UK

2)   Vote for the executive committee

3)   Become a candidate for CAFE UK’s executive committee members including president and vice president

4)   Hold special committee meeting if above 20% of the members demand so in writing

5)   Obtain exchange materials in events organized by CAFE UK

6)   Honorary members’ names to be recognized in CAFE UK website

7)   Corporate members’ names to be recognized in CAFE UK website

Members who do not pay the annual fee due will lose the rights listed above.
